FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Lona Robertson has joined the faculty of Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences as an associate professor and area coordinator for the apparel studies major in the School of Human Environmental Sciences.
Mary Warnock, the school’s director, said, “Dr. Robertson is a highly regarded educator in the field of fashion merchandising. We are delighted that she has joined us to help meet the growing student demand for our apparel studies major.”

The major added 33 students from fall 2004 to fall 2005. It is the most popular of 15 majors offered by Bumpers College.

She was an assistant professor of textiles, apparel and merchandising at Indiana State University while working on a doctorate in education from Indiana University.
She received her Ed.D. degree in 1995 and joined the Oklahoma State University faculty that year.
